Vicki Kennedy aka Margaret Nolan Born in 1944 of Irish parents and raised in Hampstead, London. She was in part discovered by Lawrence Davis (this could have been Roger Davis) and Harrison Marks. Changing her name to Vicki Kennedy she quickly found work as a model although her figure was far too curvaceous for fashion. Harrison Marks was already established as the top glamour photographer in the country and through his publications Vicki Kennedy, along with June Palmer and Pamela Green, became very popular the world over. Vicki, with her fantastic 41.24.36 figure, her blue eyes, blonde hair and pouting lips was the perfect fantasy in the magical Harrison Marks formula. Harrison Marks made a series of super 8 films which Margaret starred in, and along with appearances in such magazines as Parade she became much sought after for her glamour work. During the making of “Some Like It Cool”, in which Vicky had a small part, she was spotted and given another small part in the famous Beatles film “A Hard Day’s Night”. This in turn lead to her getting the role in the opening and closing sequences in the Bond movie “Goldfinger”, a complicated process which took four months to film. She also took the part of Bonds girlfriend Dink. The films producers offered her a two year contract as the “golden girl”, but she declined the offer in favour of other acting opportunities. She got so much publicity from the bond film that she worked through until the late 60’s taking roles in films such as “Don’t Lower the Bridge, Raise the River”, “Saturday Night Out”, “Tomorrow”, “White Savage” and lots more. In Europe she gained publicity at the Cannes film festival by appearing in soft core sex comedies. Back in England she became even more well known for her appearances in the Carry On films of which she appeared in nine. Vicky enjoyed the Carry On series as they were simple to make and usually only took one take. Taking to the stage she appeared in four West End dramas and also continued her screen career with appearances in the popular TV productions “The Sweeny”and “Last of the Summer Wine”. She retired in 1983 and lives a less hectic lifestyle on a farm in Spain. Recently informed now back in England with her own website.
